hi there i have just fitted my oil pressure sensor it only has the one pin with thread on at the top for a sensor wire to go on so ive hooked all up and wired gauge in and when do 1st click on igniton it still shoots up to off the gauge and when engine is on running it stays the same any body ideas?? ive made the connection in the side of block were pressure swith normally is

Was it a new one?
What happens if you dont connect it?
What happens if you touch the wire to earth/block?

if its not conected it shoots right over, it came with a autogauge gauge i bought so its 2nd hand, havnt tried the last one :s
