I'm wanting electric windows in my corsa.
I've been thinking towards the microscan universal kit for £90. I've been told that these are unreliable though.
Anyone had any experience with them? are they easy to fit?

go to a breakers and get some from another vaux, there is hundreds of cav with em in scrap yards.

ive been told (and can imagine) its a really tricky job to do though.
As you have to replace the whole window winding mechanism. Not too keen on doing that.

the cav one will be easier to fit than a microscan one as teh wiring lomb will match up and the stiwches are the right one.

yeah the wiring should be alright its the whole window mechanism which i think will cause the trouble.
Have you ever done one?

no, but i have used cav leccy mirrors lomb and motors in mine
|
