Managed to drop my desire earlier and cracked the glass. The display itself is fine, just the glass on top which is smashed top left.
What should I expect to pay for replacement glass? The local repair shop I've used before on older phones.just quoted me £94.80
Can't be right!

The screen digitizer (or "glass" as you put it) costs around £50, probably a tricky job hence the high labour cost I imagine?

My 3GS was £45 all in at one of those market stall places. Done a good job too by all accounts.

The opening kit seems to just be torx screwdrivers and a guitar plectrum
