Just wanted a few opinion's really, my girlfriends mum is after a 4x4 and doesn't want the hassle of advertising/selling her car. I just wonder if there was much money to be made out of buying it off her and selling it on.
Its a 2002 Peugeot 206 SW estate, 2.0L HDI with 70k on the clocks. 1 Owner from new with FSH and in good condition bar 2 minor car park dings, i can get it for about a grand with 6 months tax and mot, cant seem to find many private 206 SW's on ebay.. any help would be appreciated!!

Factor in the price to advertise, bit of hassle with waiting in for people who may not buy and also the problem that you can't sell it while you don't have the V5 back yet so you'll need to store it for a bit.
You'll also be putting one more owner on it and the date of last transfer will be recent which the buyer may question you on.
Or you could leave it in her name but then you'll have questions about whether it's your car to sell.
