dont hold me to this BUT as far as 16 valvers are concerned up till 1995 corsa sports SRi 16v and gsi run the C16XE 1.6 and the C14XE 1.4 then in 1n 1996 the facelifted corsa made an appearance with the X16XE 1.6 AND X14XE 1.4.........and to be honest i have both a 1.4 sport 1998 model and a 1.6 sport 2000 model there is no obvious difference between the engines what so ever its just internals like bore stroke and piston size that differs i think so basicly if you know your car is a 1.6 i can guarantee you its a x16xe

Surely you know how big ur engine is?

1.4 8v SRi - C14SE

1.4 16v SRi - X14XE

1.4 Sport - X14XE

1.6 Sport - X16XE

Early GSi's - C16XE

Late GSi's - X16XE

there is no C14XE.
