theres a guy local to me who does evo builds, commonly does strokers producing 600+. doubt he'd charge half what norris does if your mates dad got the bits together

That's driving mostly sensibly. On a run to Santa Pod not booting it I saw 300 before, but that is all motorways and not booting it. Lowest I've had is 130 miles to a tank. I can't understand how an Evo is that bad it's only a 2 litre turbo!?

When booting it mine reads 4mpg.

Every nice norris is local to me, My mate had norris evo 6 engine built by them not to that level about 400ish

You dont buy/build a 700bhp Evo for fuel economy though!!!

You've got to have deep pockets to own one of that spec not just for fuel but for servicing and fixing! I have a couple of mates with good powered evos. One with a 700+bhp & one with a 500+bhp which are forever breaking something or needing uprated parts uprating even more!!! Ged (700+bhp) had to pay £1200 for a gear selector for his dogbox

Yeah I know mate obviously if it's a monster MPG goes out the window I don't generally care about MPG or I'd have a Prius but with prices going up I just wondered how bad the Evo actually is as I do want to own one at some point just to say I've had one.

but have to agree, unless he is planning to use it for competition / a lot of trackdays 840bhp is just a waste of cash.

500-600 would be much cheaper and easier to live with.

I get about 180 miles to a tank of 75 litres.. thats on average aswell..

V8 running 475 bhp

im so glad i got rid of my blob. i hated going to the petty station. i used to get approx 100 miles to £30.

so prob 200 to a full tank.
