Im looking at totally modding my Corsa B.
This is what i got planned, so pls tell me ur views or if there is anything else i should do.
It is only a 1.0i 12v...but hopefully get the cash to trans a good 1.6 or 2.0 later on. I have a few Q's next to the points...im a newbie to this but have watched from a distance for a while...i know what i want, but am unsure which is the best route to getting there!
- Ultima/Prowler/Prototype Body Kit (got loadsa names)...wide arches etc....looks kinda future/techie. (http://www.autostyling.uk.com/images/corsa_prototype.html)
- 17" O.Z. Titan Alloys (do i need to mod the arches to fit 17" rims in?)
- New Brake Discs (undecided) on front and rear (is is poss. to change the rear, i know some have done it, but is it costly.)
- 40mm lowered sports suspension.
- Twin Black Diamond Exhaust or Sebring Oval. (or, if there are dual exit exhausts avail. could u tell me where i can get?)
- Steinmetz Grille
- Midnight Black tinted rear windows, with light smoke on fronts.
- Respray to either Black or Silver (currently a shitty atlantis blue, how much would a total respray set me back?)
- K&N Induction kit + clean out the engine bay.
- get 1 those Fiat Punto rear wipers...
- single wiper conversion at front.
- rear lexus clusters.
- DTM/M3 mirrors either carbon look or sprayed to body colour.
- GSI Spoiler with Saxo conv. spoiler added.
Im gonna leave the interior for the mo...i could get a retrim or just get the black door cards. If i have left anything out, i may add it later tot the post.
I am have the cash for this, but wanna know what u think before i do it. It is a big project.

no need to change to rear disks just get uprated fronts if u want, do tints, do kit if thats what u like, o.z titans? think highest offset for o.z is 42mm so 17's without major arch mods will result in a costly tyre bill! everything else id do, respray will set u back anything from 400+ depending on what needs doing, sport interior!

ok...cheers. So i i got a lower offset tyre, could i fit other rims in?
I may not get the oz as the are a lot...i put them down as i would like them...but cost is too great...plus others rims are appealing to me!
how bout ET40...VT7 Masitaly rims...will the fit?

A fully respray, by a reputable company could be in the region of 1500 quid

You want as close to et 49 as you can get, especially with 17s

I am still debatting between the fox premier evo 1 or 5 in titanium. I have finished saving as off tommorrow as thats when i get paid. So now i just have to decided. I will only be getting 15s with 45 rubber not 50 so they should fit ok. the offset is only 42 but you only need near to 49 when you are going up to 17s

slugger dont buy 15s u will regret it straight away go 4 16s. u can get nice ones from south west tyres at 400 for a set wit tyres!!

1st of the body kit is pants, poorly constructed and will cost u a bomb in fitting and maintance (alot of filla which will crack)
if u do however get the kit 17s will be to small, 18s min and u will need massive spacers so the arches dont swallow the wheels
for twin exit exhaust ull need a custom exhaust made up, either powerflow or ascar will do
when u put the body kit on ull pretty much need a full respray anyway so change it then
Front brakes - id say go for V6 jobbies (calipars, disks and pads for £200 by V-Tunning from Mig Web) or u can just buy so aftermarket disks and fit V6 calipars to that
Im gonna presume ur not going to do this all at once, so if ur gonna do it in order leave the body kit, spray job, wheels to last
