The Vodafone site tells me that I'm eligible for an upgrade on the 8th of February 50 days before my contract's up. Can I cancel my contract on this date or do I have to wait another 50 days until it's officially over? Cheers

you don't be allowed to cancel until the end. They offer you an early upgrade to try and tie you in to another contract.

Thought as much  . I really want to get an iphone on 3 but don't want to continue paying 3 months on my old phone. Hmmm, wish I wasn't so inpatient!

I don't know if phones4u do 3? But they'll buy you out of your old contract if you start a new one with them.
