When you click that you are single just to to your wall and hover the mouse to the right of the comment and click the cross to delete it.

This, thanks Doug that's the type of thing I was looking to hear. I knew that the wee cross deleted it from my wall, didn't know if it would have deleted it altogether though.

Blukoo, the second one only not because I'm sensitive, just whenever I see other people doing it it reeks of attention seeking. Archie, not quite sure what I'm doing just yet just wanted to know if it was possible.

There's an option to say if you want to notify about it. Or do the X afterwards, although that isn't instant.
