ah rite ok mate, i just didnt think that an open ended spanner would do the trick, especially if youve got to undo the bolts at an angle due to the crank pulley bein in the way lol. il give it a go, cheers for the advice!!

cheers dan. just needs cleanin up a bit, the cam cover was leakin pretty bad by the looks of it. Got my new tensioner bolt made up for me today though and my parts arrived so il def be doing the cambelt n waterpump this week so its ready to fit into the corsa next weekend

Havent had any luck with this engine yet
Firstly i realised id snapped off one of the timing case cover bolts only just managed to get that out of the engine... removed the camshaft pulleys and noticed a big old crack on the exhaust camshaft luckily i knew some 1 in the same town as me who had a spare one so ive got to replace that now.
Just waiting on camshaft seals now. At this rate, its lookin like il be putting the engine in the corsa n worrying about sorting the camshaft n timing belt out afterwards.
