Very easy to open the boot from the outside via the number plate hole. My dad locked my key in my Corsa and I opened the boot in about 2 mins and that was my first attempt.
I'm not a theif btw

Get yourself an outside light with the sensor, hopefully act as more of a deterrent.

my mate had his MX bike in his alarmed garage, chained to a ground anchor, a tranny van parked infront of the garage door and their family car parked infront of that.... they broke into both the car and the van, moved them out the way, disarmed the garage alarm and managed to get the chain/anchor off the bike and made off with it... left everything else!
ive heard of people using them baby radio things you use to hear if your babys awake/crying etc in their garage or car, that way you get to hear them and go give them a good hiding. because it doesnt sound an alarm... just wakes you up

Should change this title to "CLEVER SCUM"
That seems amazing to be able to do that!

How is this done, is there anything I can do to stop someone doing it to my car?

Posting up how to break into a corsa virtually undetected on the open forum isn't the best idea ever....

the people who did this are obvioulsy people who own a corsa as they targeted a particular part and also knew how to get into the car pretty much undetected.
My guess is that they will be going on a local car. Do you post on any local forums? or seen any corsas regulary arround your way?

I'm thinking bring the car into the back garden at night, rather get car covered in mud each night than robbed up!

You can get a car into the garden, and you think a person can't get in to your garden? Your plan fails.
