Work this one out for me because im stumped

got a missfire throughout the rev range and its cylinder 3 thats down.

Tried 3 working coilpacks - still the same
swopped leads round - still the same
cleaned and swopped plugs round - still the same

all leads are sparking as they should bar the lead thats connected to cylinder 3 on the coilpack getting a spark so strong that if you remove the lead off the plug it sparks all round the plug hole.

cylinder 3 is getting fuel as the end of the pug is wet.......

Any idea's as im stumped

The engine ran faultless lastnight turned it off, came to it this morning to go to uni and was missing from first turn of the key.

tried swapping cyl 2 and 3 round on the coil?

Yea swopped the leads on 2 nd 3 andy.

Going plug it in first see what that comes up as and then i think compression test is next.

heaters still run hot and doesnt seem to of used any water.

compression test, dont have to a guru to find bent valves

What thats confusing me the most is it was running fine before switching it off and going back to it the morning after.

could still be the injector even though its getting some fuel

Swap the injectors round with another cylinder to run an injector fault out, if not then id say HG

Ran fault code reader and come up as

0200
0412

0200 - injector malfunction

0412 - Secondary air injection solenoid A circuit malfunction

Try swapping the injector.

Going get it to a mates garage in the morning where I can have a closer look at it.
