Well if you purchased a set of clocks with rev counter, all you need to do is 'clock' it to the mileage on your original clocks.

It's quite simple to do, obviously I do not condone people clocking their cars but in your case it will be ok as you are getting a replacement set of clocks and changing the mileage on your new speedo to reflect the same mileage as on the old ones.

On my Astra, all I had to do was take the old speedo unit out and fit it into the new clock housing as they are both the same size, but this cannot be done on the Corsa because the speedo unit differs in size between models with and without a rev counter.

You do realise that every time your car is MOT'd they record the mileage on it... It would look a bit dodgy if your clocks said 70,000 miles and your original ones said 35,000 for example, and your last MOT was done at say 65,876 miles!
