hi all i was wondering what that box was under the dash were the glove box is i want to get rid of it how do i do that because i want to put the longer glove box in because i lost my tray under the seat because i just put calibra leather seats in help please

Hmm. Other box? I don't remember a box behind the glove box. Is it not the ventilation tube you're seeing?

sounds like its part of the aircon. thats why youve got a small glovebox

ahh good i pulled most of it apart b4 and its got like ac rad thingy in there :S and the pipes from the outside by the bat aswell

You wont be able to remove it, Since the non-aircon setup is completely different and will not work in your car.

its removed now but i got a problem with the pollen filter showing so freesing air comes through at speed im going to look at my mates so i can see how his looks

A non-aircon dont have a hole in the bulkhead there, it has it further over.

yeh ive done this to all my corsas ive had its the aircon box mate take it out with screws from under the scuttle panel and to block the hole up just leave the pollen filter and that plastic holder in there as this will stop the wind wen your driving and stop rain going in the new longer glove box or if your a good welder weld a plate in? the only thing that you lose use of is the slider on centre console as the cable was attached to the aircon flap nothing major

cheers andy my mate told me to pull the pollen filter out and put abit of perspex over with silicone and im going to pop rivet in aswell if i can be arsed haha

no probs yeh that should work ok just make sure you clean the area properly before you stick the silicone on it as it will just peel straight back off gud gud
