Looking to buy some coilovers for mk4 astra, will be mainly for road use, the odd track day/strip run. Looking to spend circa £500....
So far looked at GAZ, AP & got reccomended V-Maxx by Broster.
Anyone got any views on the above brands? as I've only ever had 1 car on coilovers and they were the cheap "racelands" from eBay

AP's seem to be getting great reviews at the moment and seem reasonably priced

Yeah, read a few good things about them, novaneil(?) has a set on a mk4 coupe and he said they were great!
Only reason for asking is that V-Maxx don't seem to mr to be as good and I don't know of anyone who has them on an astra to compare them with.

Found some Weitec's for under £500, they are basically a re-branded KW without the £800+ price tag.

I can get GAZ coilovers (all 4 coilovers instead of separate shocks and springs for the rears) for the best price you'll ever find. OJC, jr, willay are a few who can confirm this
EDIT - Oh, and I ran these on my Corsa GSi LET perfectly fine.

You can't have full coilovers on the read of an astra I thought? it's front coilovers and rear springs with and adjuster plate iirc.
Found a price for the GAZ GHA kit which comes out at £494.10. What can you do on that price out of interest, as i've got the funds ready to buy and want to sort it all out ASAP....
