Where the car has to be insured even if sorn.

Not heard a lot about it other that what some of the lads have said.

Anyone got any info on it? Seems a bit ott tbh, what about people who have long term resto projects etc?

My bad. Car has to be insured OR sorn. Can't be taxed with no insurance. Fucked if you only use a car thru summer etc

Where is the info on this? If a car is taxed, but not insured but still kept in a garage + is not in use - then what? haha

It's not as bad as I first thought. But still a pain for people who have summer cars. Having to mess about declaring SORN instead of just leaving them taxed!

The other big one due in European courts in the very near future is possibly removing gender as a rating factor from private motor underwriting.

Maybe they just cash the tax in then after 4mths or however long the official start/finish date of Summer is.
