Oh i train them hard enough believe me
I just like that feeling you get a few days after where your legs and ass are quite sore, and ive seen a big transformation since i started doing them so that motivates me as well to keep doing them

10 bicep curls in on set isn't enough i don't think, as jake said.
i like starting on 15 and then try and get as close to that as possible for the next 4 or 5 lots.
at the 10th curl, i can only just feel my bicep get pumped

I wouldnt know what that looked like. Given youre from york i would imagine you do.
My walking is the exact same. Maybe not straight after the gym as they can be a bit shakey but just because they can be a bit sore doesnt mean im going to start walking like a pussy. Infact it doesnt even effect the way you walk.

there are various ways and techniques on how many reps you do and how many sets.
i have been told (but havent tried because i dont really like the idea as much) a good way is to start off with a decent weight and do 5 reps, then add on 5kg, then do another 5 reps and continue doing that until you cant lift any more.
reason being is because you arent using all your energy doing 15 to start with so youre going to be able to lift more and its supposed to be good for when you want to bulk up as its really hard for tall and skinny guys with high metabolisms to gain weight.
this has came from a guy who has been in various body building competitions throughout the years.

Ben - More reps is usually for cutting, low reps is usually to gain size.
sc0ott - I do legs aswell when they're not tired from footie. Read somewhere that working on them can release hormones or something which is beneficial to the rest of your workouts due to it being such a large muscle group.
Plus it looks ridiculous if you have skinny drain pipe legs and huge torso

Use a heavier weight then, less reps for gaining size.

Correct.
Also after doing legs sit with your back against a wall and position your legs as if you were sitting down, which i think is called a ski squat, except dont move and try keep your hands by your side.
