hi guys wats the best way 2 take the lenses off standard headlights

I tried heatgun and gradually prizing it open mate

hair dryer normally works but better off using a heat gun if you can get hold of one heat around the glass lense until sealent stuff starts going soft and with a wallpaper scraper or flat head screwdriver try to prise the lense off be carefull and not to crack the glass tho if you think its going to give it some more heat,

i dont know mate lol i'm still trying to find out myself, theres a messy way that involves making one set from 2 (smash the glass on one set, cut the plastic on the other)

if you have depos you will have them apart in minutes on the other hand if the valeo's it will take you a while

I did mine in the oven for about half a hour or so on a lowish heat and they came apart fairly easily.

Valeos no problem... i put my oven on gas mark 4 and left them for about 20 mins do 1 at a time so the other doesent go cold and the glass with a small amount of prying just falls off. i put them in glass down and towards the heat so that got hottest and also high up so the flames werent licking at the lights lol.

then silicone to stick the cunts back together

i dont think the inlaws would be very happy lol i will try the heat gun first if not then i will sneek em in the oven haha if i do do them i will update on my thread thanks for all the comments
