I really fancy a weekend away in the next few months, to a nice city where i'd be able to tie in a match in a decent stadium, with a typical atmosphere for that country.
One that really appeals to me is dortmund, im not sure what the citys like but I love the look of the ground and ive heard the german atmosphere is second to none, and ticket prices are decent too.
anyone planned such a trip? I just want to know the best way to do it, what countrys are likely to be cheaper for that sort of thing etc. Im living in norwich at the moment so to fly from there would be a bonus...
cheers guys

They're quite far ahead at the top of the league as well, so should be an even better atmosphere!

A bit of a delayed reply to this thread, but cheers for the advice! Ive looked into flights to dortmund but they dont fly from norwich, and would cost around 600 per person for a return flight from stansted which is a bit too much (taking the missus).
Looking into going to munich now, around £250 pp returns for flights from norwich in october time. Plus side of going to munich is that two teams use the stadium so Id imagine there would be a game nearly every weekend?
Anyone planned a similar sort of trip? Best way to get tickets? cheers

even the club itself is crazy, they released a home and an away kit, but the home kit was reversible, but they only wore it inside out once, against there rivals hamburg (they're from hamburg too)
edit - it's pretty safe too, they dont have hooligans etc, they are all for peace and love and anti racism

pretty safe for fans, not so for officials, didn't they knock out a linesman and get a match abandoned recently Russ?

so if you go to a match there, get a seat near the back! Less chance of being in the line of fire then
