Hi. ive got a x16xe and the problem is that its burning too much fuel. when i start the car it just smells of petrol. i was looking to know if anyone could help me out? please and thanks

Have you replaced the lambda sensor? or checked it

First thing to check is the pipes where they enter the injector rail, top right side of the engine.

i replaced the lambda sensor at the exhaust maifold recently thinking that it was that. is there just the one lambda to replace?

yes pipes were checked. they all seem to be fine.
