Right ive just picked up a set of wheels for my car and two of them need a refurb and they all need new tyres ideally.

Im just wondering what order would you do things in first?

Would you get the wheels refurbed then the new tyres put on.

Or new tyres and then wheels refurbed?

Just thinking i dont want any potental damage being done after i for out on a refurb

refurb then new tyres. saves masking the tyres off

you would be able to do a better job with tyres off, them put new ones one after, tis what im doing.

A mate of mine gets tyres fitted but then has the outside bead left off. No chance of the wheel being damaged having a tyre fitted then.

I would have the tyres taken off then wheels refurbed and then tyres fitted. Just make sure you use a decent garage that fit the tyres with care. Iv never had a wheel damahed from having tyres fitted

Safest way and still gives plenty room to get into the rim etc.

i'd do left leg in, left leg out, in, out, in, out, shake it all about, then repeat for right leg, left arm, and right arm.

don't forget to do the turning arounds

Wheels shouldn't be damaged anyway, all new tyre machines have plastic guides as oposed to metal on the older machines.
