Thinking of getting one of these next as Im seriously bored of my iphone now and the fact that the defy is water proof and dust proof etc makes me want it
Anyone got one or used one? are they shit or are they decent enough?

It's a good phone and spec is pretty decent although the camera/video is a bit shite and it's the main issue a lot of reviews have with it. Also heard 2.2 is meant to make a huge difference compared to 2.1.
£140-200 gets you a new one off ebay.
sigibbons - Defy is a lot better than the ZTE Blade (Orange SanFran) in everyway. Don't get me wrong, SanFran is a brilliant phone for under £100 but out of those two the Defy wins hands down.

not too bothered about camera or video really, just want a phone that can take a beating and is water proof, going to keep my eye out on ebay for one that goes for a decent price now

tbh for £100 the san fran is brilliant, ok the camera is shit but I have an SLR for when I want to take proper pictures. It's better than my iphone 3G put it that way, in fact I took my iphone to the gym yesterday as I haven't any music on the san fran yet and bloody hell I couldn't wait to switch back over 
2.2 runs lovely on it, didn't take me long to upgrade it, the orange crap is a bit shit on the pre installed 2.1, and unlocked it in less than 30 seconds?
