Suppose you have to sacrifice some to allow for others, if it's too relaxed then people will get around it or atleast try to. The 50/30 rule has helped loads, have it at 30 days then and stop the post count?
It's pointless having anything if these people can still U2U members though, having things go on privately is potentially worse, as we can't try to help it until it's happened in that case.

Tbf CS hasn't got anything different to any other website as in classifieds wise wo why would someone wait? They can just go to a different website/forum and look there.
Everyone wants everything now kinda thing

I would let them have it now as well but that's not realistic.
I'm a big fan of 50/30 how it is.

Hmm some valid points around. personally I think my suggestion last week would sort a lot of it out. I thought maybe of admin being able to put a picture uploader as the first screen or maybe even a way of sending them to say photobucket for example...
The idea of taking pictures and that is too much hard work for some people so they ignore it.
If you made that as the rule it would cut down a lot I think?
If not, what about only making it available to premium members? (selling and buying) .Abit like PL but classifieds?
that way it would make people want to spend the £12.50 to upload pics into their own garage, be able to sell and show their car on the stands in show season.
Just a thought

what about some coloured writing under the names of new users/people not allowed to post in classifieds yet, that way if people got a u2u off them they would be aware they haven't been around for long?

That could work but There are already too many colours if you think about it with premium members having black and green.mods with blue and green, admin with red and dodgy sellers with red writing warning people already.

Paying to use classifieds makes sense. Just not £12.50 per year. Say £5. Then a reduced cost to become a premium member (the difference) to make it more appealing

I agree with this. Only CO should be available imo

Why not have a feedback system like MIG or ebay?
