My SRI isn't very economical obviously, but it's a pukka car. You can't have everything!

Buy a vts. Everyone who buys a car to compete with one... I just don't get it. Not saying this is entirely the case with the op btw but going by the rest of the threads that have mentioned a French motor it seems like the general consensus

Yeah i find it strange too.It seems that a Gti/Vts is the new benchmark car for quick cars.Every1 seems to buy a car around them.Normally comparing them to 172/182s mind you.

Perfomance aside,i would pick the C SRi.

Hated my old Vtr.Was just a shit car as a whole.Liked it for a week,then quickly started to hate the thing.

the girlfriends 2005 corsa 1.8 sri does 35-36mpg which is about right for a nippy 1.8 petrol car?

If you never take it over 3k rpm then yeah that sounds about right. On a proper back road blast it won't get that
