My mate knew he was an 1/8 Welsh (mother) and now he's found out his dad is an 1/8 Welsh also

What does that make him? Fully Welsh? 1/4? 1/2? 1/16?

how could 2 1/8's make 1/16th? if anything it makes him more welsh and as gary has put, it's a 1/4.

Ja.

Grandad came over on the kindertransport when he was 15 as a sponsored labourer. Ended up in a village about 3 miles away from where I live and he lived the rest of his life.

My Nan was evacuated from London at the same time and she ended up here.
