here is my dilema since owning my 1.6 sport a year ago i have been wanting another one, undoubtedly the gsi looks better but what are the positives and negatives of each car, they seem to be similarly prices aswell.
any help will be appreciated

You would pay more for a good GSI, and they look a milion times better.

gsi older and more prone to rust

sport has all elec windows etc and some with aircon plus being newer and having nicer interior

are they both on par performance wise?
i have always wanted a gsi, rust doesnt scare me, i have owned novas since i passed my test haha!

It's a massive shame vaux didn't do a post 97 GSi. With the sport lump, plus aircon, better wheels electrics etc

Would have been a force to be reckoned with in the late 90s hot hatch Market.

Only thing the proper GSI has going for it is the c16xe engine and bodykit...thats it.
