Hey guys,
Just got my car back, is now running fine after fitting the correct transponder ecu chip ect. Now, just noticed a problem with the gearbox. This is the problem:
Reverse is where third should be, and you dont have to lift to get it into reverse.
First is where fifth should be.
Second is below first, where there shouldnt even be anything.
Whats the problem guys? I didnt do this myself so i dont know.
Cheers

Gear linkage needs setting up correctly - either look in haynes manual or :
undo 13mm adjuster nut on gear linkage rod underneath
remove geatlever boot -lock gear lever into neutral by putting drill bit into 2 holes
on gear lever
Lock gearbox turret into neutral by turning selector rod until drill bit locks rod into position
tighten pinch bolt - remove all locking bit and hey presto - you have all the gears
