hi as some of you know i done a x18xe1 conversion on my 1.2 16v club corsa b
it revs at 2000 rpm on idle dont know why ????
i have changed the throttle body on this for another second hand one give it a really good clean polished the inside the works and still no joy still idles high ( maybe another fooked one)
it is no sucking in any air from any where as iv checked all the vacuum pipes etc etc
so obviously somit else
changed the coolant temp sensor still no joy
so then i thought well mite as well unplug stuff see what it runs like #
so i unplugged the airflow meter/maf sensor in the induction pipe and the revs dropped off is it a dodgy maf sensor as there is no EML on
lastly my car will not connect to the dignostics
i wired it up like this :
Corsa Loom -> X18XE1 loom
Thick Red -> 2x Thin Blacks (+12v)
Thick Black -> Thick Black (IGN 12v)
Green -> Green (Revs)
Blue -> Blue (Temp)
Blue Red -> Brown / White (Immo)
Brown / Blue -> Brown / Blue (Immo)
Brown / Yellow -> Brown / Yellow (Diag).......... realised that on a 1.2 16v the wire on the corsa loom is brown and white so wired it up both ways one at a time and still nothing am i doing somit wrong ?????
really pissing me off
cheers

Have you driven the car, does it drive OK? When coming to a stop do the revs bounce up and down before settling on idle?
