I'm with Icy, I thought blue Sports were 1997+ (Arden blue?)
Can't think of a blue colour that 1996 Sports came in.

94,000 miles isn't that bad on a modern engine.

But for that price, seems high. £2k would be a better price.

y do people get all concerned about mileage, mileage on modern day cars doesnt really matter as long as its driven properly and serviced regularly, id say the price is about right

Price is too high in my opinion.

The comments made about high millage not being a problem are true, modern day engines can last a lot of miles. The thing is though how many miles has it done per year. That car on average will have done 13,500 miles per year, which isn't too bad, it depends on its history though for what has been fixed at what intervals.

For an 8v engine I wouldnt worry with that millage, they are strong little engines, but the 16v............with more sophistication and speed came more problems and expense.

Mileage really don't mean that much, same things can go wrong at any point.

Done 37k on a 2000 and just blown my clutch. Some last forever.

Scott I think you will find that normally, on the whole millage does relate to what needs repairing. You blow your clutch on 37k whilst other people sail past 60k and not need anything doing to the clutch, advice is learn how to drive from them.

Its not a bad price i dont think, miles a little high. Sports first lunched in Sept 1995 so will be right to be on an N-reg.

If you can knock a couple of hundred off then all the better, but not a bad price at 2.5k
