It has no flash support so will never be used as i have Chrome/FF and 32bit IE.

It wont appear in the add/remove programes list, i deleted the shortcut but want to remove the whole thing if poss as it will never be used and is a waste/annoyance.

Im on IE8 btw

I thought there was some flash support available now?

Never tried myself, but have you looked under the windows components rather than installed programs?

They've release "square" which is a 64 bit version of the Flash plugin for 64 bit browsers. As for removing it, you can't without removing both versions.

Either way, i'm not sure why you want to remove it? It's about 5mb in size and if you have another browser set as your default then it's far from an annoyance

I have the 32bit installed, i know its only a small file size but its another file another menu etc. In 3yrs time when the pc is full of shite like that ill be spending £500 on a new one rather than just keepin this one in trim.

Plus im fucking anal

WTF? Why can't you use Flash on x64 browsers?

I can see why Apple think Flash is so fucking gay

32bit plugins don't work under a 64bit browser that's why. Although as i said, Flash has released a 64bit version of Flash (in beta anyways)

Just delete the shortcut from the start menu. There's no reason you'd ever use IE anyway.

I've yet to have a problem with Vista, except for having to find work arounds to use old accounting software. But I'd have to do that with 7 too.

Don't think I notice as my PC is quite quick.

I'll wait for the new version of Windows Me to come out
