hi was thinking about de-cating my 1.2 16v as i have it off just now as i thought it collapsed but it turns out it has not,

much performance gains and will it be far louder ?

Wouldn't be worth de-catting a 1.2 16v it will lose power and will be louder if its got some sort of aftermarket backbox.

I snashed the insides of my cat out on my 1.2 16v and it was a lot better to drive

yeah i did it to mine aswell in the end it was stinking so i thought i be aswell made a fair diffrence

Freeing up an extremely restrictive crap exhaust, makes it lose power

well its made a massive diffrence would recomend it highly, sounds a bit shity i think but turn up the stero and it soon goes away
