Any decent hacks were patched ages ago anyway. It's been playable for ages.

not on ps3, i think i counted 11 games in a row last week people were hacking, people running around with a helicopter as their gun or two sentry guns as their guns

I'm curious how they're patching it on PS3, since what people are doing is the equivalent of running a JTAG online so they can run unsigned code and their own patches. A new title update will only be a temporary fix if it does anything at all imo.

On ps3, yes it is modded patches. Before ofw 3.56 came out you could just swap the patches using a file manager on cfw 3.55. The new ofw did not remove the patch, but stopped you be able to change it. Now infinty ward have released a new patch, you cannot swap it out for a modded one. You can still bypass but can then only play with people that have bypassed.

People with 2 ps3 can still host lobbies though, but that was how it was before the cfw, when challenge lobbies used to be rare and not hosted by annoying little kids.
