Would putting diluted bleach in MHWs to clean them damage them at all? Reason being is it looks as if the passenger side has had a leak at some point and theres like a green scum inside the lense. I've sealed round the lights and there doesn't seem to be a leak now so want to clean it out.
Just unsure if the bleach would discolour or leave any marks?
Can sort of see the scum on the n/s light

we use traffic film remover in work, diluted 5050 in a spray bottle. shifts pretty much everything, as long as you dont leave it on too long it wont do any harm

I don't have none of that , I'm thinking of stuff thats readily available in the house
Tried washing up liquid but didn't shift anything so thinking of stronger stuff, afraid of destroying them though.

just an idea.. but if you have a toothbrush and a lighter, soften the plastic, bend the head back 90 degree's and get it in through the bulb hole, scrub with warm soapy water

That would work but the red filter is in the way
