So the application for them starts today until April 26th http://www.tickets.london2012.com
Is anyone going to apply and ifso what are you hoping to see?
What do you think the popular events will be ie: events that are liekly to be sell outs and difficult to get tickets for?
Niall wants to go and watch the football Not sure how good the olympic footy teams are but hey, could be fun!

100m sprint final will probably be one of the hardest.
Would possibly like to see gymnastics.

Finals and Medal Ceremonies will be the priciest. I'd quite like to see cycling in the Velodrome.

Max applied: £1,400
Taken: £320
Cunts. Still cannot believe there wasn't a pref sale for Londoners, England residents, British residents etc.
I dislike that I have to put up with a month of disruption whilst johnny foreigners come over and steal my tickets

with regards to this, buying all tickets then getting lumbered with them all and a hefty bill if you win them all, does distance selling rights not come into this? whereby you can send back within a certain time for a full refund

95 quid a ticket to go and watch somebody fire an arrow, not a chance.
That could get you to something decent.
They should be giving tickets away for free.

Depends how you feel about the sport I guess.
50 up to 725 quid to watch a 100m sprint event that's over in sub-10 seconds....

No - Contracts for accommodation, transport, catering or leisure services, which are arranged for a specific time or date - for example, train, airline or concert tickets, or hotel bookings - are not covered by these Regulations.

exactly. taxpayers money is paying for this event.
the least they could do is give something back to all the hardworking people out there without charging them ridiculous amounts for something they've already paid for.

Radio 1 was saying something about this exceeding his credit card limit and therefore he shouldn't get any at all.
Showing its all a bit mish mash, really.

Apparently my friend only gets one family ticket for the olympics
Wonder how deep his dads pockets are to buy a ticket for the mens team finals
