There bastids when they go, as i posete b4 i had to get a new engine, cost me a fortune....

Would of liked a bigger engine but was insured with vaux at the time and they just laffed!!!

mate mine snapped bout 5 weeks ago i tried to start the car not knowin it was that wot was fcuked and i bent 8 valves

cost me £260 to get it sorted

it will be an engine rebuild mate at worst case,
how many valves u got?

ive got an xe that ive just stripped. 14 bent valves and 2 snapped off cleanely inbedding them selves in head and pistons. so one fucked head 16 fucked valves and 4 fucked pistons. block looks ok but who knows.

Cambelt snapped after only 20k on my old 1.4 16v.

Was only travelling 15mph at most, but bent all 16valves. Cost around £800. But was never the same again, ended up paying another 1k for a GSi engine to be put in.

My cars on 58k and just had timing belt done again 2 weeks ago.

First time it was done was 32k.

For the sake of 50 notes, i'd rather that than engine going pop

I was always careful with mine mate, had it changed after 25k first time and then snapped after another 20k.
