if you can afford it, then i would, with all the magazines etc, it will only go up in value.

Meh... I built one of these, buy a magazine get a part things, total rip off.
It was a nitro rc i built worked out at just under 400 quid and the car was for sale brand new fullly built for 150 or something.

If it wasn't so bloody dear I would build it!
I built one of there remote controlled cars a few years back, was a Subaru Impreza, and then once it was finished it was optional for you to upgrade with stiffer springs, different wheels and tyres , bloody money grabbers.
Cost a few hundred, broke the first time I used it
