General information -
So after over 1 years of ownership I'm selling my Grande Punto Sporting. Reason for sale is that I
have opportunity to buy a bargain run-around to free up some cash from this car. Simple as that.
The car has covered 45k miles - I bought it on approximately 32k last February from a Mazda
dealership. The car has 1 previous owner. It also has FSH.
The most recent service was carried out at Fiat (Souls of Milton Keynes) which included:
- Oil filter
- Spark plugs
- Water pump
- Cambelt
- Anti-freeze
- Full detailed invoice available.
The service indicator is saying 16k miles left (see picture).
More recently the nearside suspension spring snapped, therefore both front springs were replaced
(March). The front brake pads have also been replaced plus brake pad level warning sensor (March).
In September 2010 the front tyres were replaced with Kumho KU31's, plenty of tread left. The rear
has the factory spec Bridgestone tyres on with at least 4mm of tread left before the legal limit
Features of the Sporting model include:
- 17" multi-spoke alloys
- 6 speed gearbox
- Remote central locking including deadlocks
- Front fog lights
- Sports seats
- Multiple airbags (drivers, passenger, seat, pillar)
- Blue&Me (Bluetooth hands free, phone book, message reader, MP3 connectivity)
- MP3 CD player (Blaupunkt factory specification)
- Multi-function steering wheel
- Air con
- Electric heated mirrors
- 'Follow me home' lights
- Sports exhaust tip
- Brake pad warning level
- Insurance group 4!
- ISOFIX in rear
The car drives and handles very well. For 1.4 16v it is quite nippy, and consistently does 40+mpg.
On a motorway cruise it will easily achieve 45+mpg. The book figure is 47mpg but which car ever
achieves the given book figure?!
All original documentation is included with the car including:
- 2 keys
- Owners manual plus service book, Blue&Me instructions & stereo instructions
- Stereo key code
- Locking wheel nut key code
- Tyre inflation kit including puncture repair (has no spare)
Should a test drive be required proof of insurance will be required, ideally fully comp.
Serious offers are welcome on the price as I would like to get rid asap - please u2u for details -
I'm happy to make the telephone call to you.
