we all no unichips are the best, but my m8 has brought a superchip for his corsa as it was very cheap, the chip is a straight swop for the origional chip but will he have to disconnect the battery the fit the chip and re-connect it the start her up or can he just change it over with the engine just turned off?????

u need to disconnect the battery. otherwise the car may not start up again!
the ecu needs to powerless for a while, then turn the engine on and let it settle, and then drive the car like u would normally so it can 'learn'.

on power in the system i.e discount the battery
