My Dad nearly bought a Diesel Qashqai, but didn't.

Yeah I've heard the Nissan is a good drive and TBH it's winning in the MPG stakes too!
Antara is meant to be awful but I really want and auto and the Nissan is only manual

loads of guys have the nissan here - the higher spec ones have glass roof, reversing camera etc - cracking car and does well on fule

Facelift in 2010 I think
