I've watched about 2 minutes worth of TV and not paid any attention to it, I'll check it out tomorrow if I get a chance.

Do 3D TV's actually make stuff look like its 3D? I've seen a few films that are 3D at the cinema and the only bit for me that actually looked proper 3D was some proper animated bit of Green Hornet.

Not all of some films are filmed in 3D.

It does 2D to 3D but I can't see me using it ever.

As Nath said, not everything is 3D.

Have you went to see them in 3D with glasses or 2D versions of 3D films?

TV is going back

For a replacement, there's a V shaped cluster of pixels that are brighter than the rest, can only see it on a dark/black background but now I've spotted it I'm not leaving it.

Very nice setup. Where did you get the speaker stands from? Need some black ones to replace my silver ones.

They are tannoy stands specifically for they speakers (although I'm sure they would fit others) I got them really cheap (if not free) when I bought the speakers, got them from Peter Tyson.

Just watched a 25gb Transformers streamed over the network to this, decoded flawlessly and also passes proper 5.1 through to the amp.

Really impressed so far and worth every penny.

My set seems to be ok. Not watched any normal tv on it though, always been sky.

Worst problem is quite a bit of light bleed at the corners when I turn it on, it disappears after that though.

There's a lot of moaners on avforums who can't see banding normally but can with one specific static gray image.
