It's a bit Marmite, and would probably appeal to BMW drivers.
Edit: when I say BMW drivers, I mean those with the 4x4s like the X5 etc.

I think it's meant to have taken influence from the Range Stormer:
Think there's a 1+ year wait on the Evoque if you were to order one now!

I don't think it looks aggressive, it's too small for a start.

isnt it also a 2.0ltr diesel? Are they doing away with the sport? i can imagine everyone buying these then realising they are shite and landrover pulling plug on the sport to limit peoples choice and to gain on the evoque. Landrover have gone from practical motors to motors for daily drivers etc, the people who have "non working farms" yet require a landrover to drive down their tarmac'd drives. I bet the evoque is also a nightmare to work on like anything above the 2.7 sport where you have to lift cab off chassis to do a clutch etc, making their £110+vat per hour a very expensive job for anyone without a 4 post ramp and knowledge

Twist off, it would struggle up a ramp to a kerb.

whats wrong with people buying a land/range rover because they like them and enjoy the high driving position and luxury inside?
not everyone has to conform to your ideal ffs.
a fwd range/land rover may ''devalue'' the brand but this is what the masses want as most never go off road and they are finally getting the product.

My boss has put the £500 deposit down (which you can get back if you want). I think it looks 'ok' and quite concept looking but I wouldn't pay anywhere what they will probably sell them for, prefer a few year old full fat one.

It's the size of a Golf and also it's a 2.2 diesel or a 2.0 petrol.
