Does anyone here have any experience with IBM P5 servers?
We have 3 here at work that have been de-comissioned, and we've been told we can take them and do what we like with them. From what I hear, they cost about £25k each a couple of years ago.
Anyone know what they might be worth now? We're hoping to get a bit of money from selling them to fund a work piss-up

Amazing when places do this, my bro got about 5laptops,printers and desktops from his office last year.

Not worth much at all due to thier power consumption.

Were getting rid of them as quick as we can because we can buy and power them for a year for the same cost as powering the P5 i.e. we are in profit after a year of ownership
