Mcrae was a legend! glad i got to see him driving at his best also met the man and saw him do a special stage at a lanark motorshow a few year before he died

Yep, its precisely because of things like this X-games vid that he's done more for rallying than any other driver out there.

The legends of the GrpB era were forgotten and rallying was dying. People like Tommy Mak and Loeb are shit to watch. McRae directly inspired guys like Ken Block and Travis Pastrana in to rallying and that's driven the surge in rally popularity in the USA and captured a whole new youth audience.
