Basically from the start of December till the end of March i'd been working as a labourer as a temporary job, my tax code was 'BR' which i believe is an emergency tax code, therefore taxed on all my earnings with them? Am i able to claim some, if not all of this back? And what form do i need to fill out to do this? I've had a look online and i'm just confusing myself even more really I've got my P60 with me and i've used some online 'Tax Refund Calculators' and they all say i should be able to claim it all back, just no idea where to go about this! Cheers!

Best thing you can do is call your local tax office. If you have only worked for the 3/4 months in the last tax year you'll be able to claim all of it back, unless you were earning ridiculous amounts and have gone over the threshold.

Will it effect it if i'm back there working again soon? Or will it start over again being a new tax year?
I should probably just ring the tax office and ask these questions

New tax year began 6th April so if it's not been sorted/claimed back by the time you start with them again it won't affect it.

Don't expect a repayment in the next week or so as HMRC are saying 4-6 weeks and that's providing it passes 'security checks'.
