Following the thread from my car being broken into, they have found the guys that did it, and admitted it.

The police said they are going to trial them in a criminal court. But the police can't advice me on how to proceed a civil claim to recoup the money to put my car window and door right ( about £300)

Does anyone know how to start a proceeding?
