I've worked in I.T. since August 2002, and this is my first full time job being 18. I haven't any A levels, but great GCSEs.
Anyways I'm pissed off with I.T. I find it so boring sometimes. I'm thinking of speaking to some Car dealerships, Vaux, Ford e.t.c to see if they can offer me anything.
Anyone know what the salary is like for a job of this kind?

Dont do it, I worked in it for 6 months worst job I've ever had, worked 6-7 days a week from 8.30am-8pm every Saturday and every other Sunday, targets are a pain in the ass, the customers are stupid/piccy/annoying/liars! We had an excellent basic of £6k!!! but you do make it up with commission, oh and you need to be arrogant, greedy and love yourself to do the job and the other salesman will whip a deal out from under ya nose in seconds, I work in service know and earn more money for less hours and a better job

Our basic of £6k was good as it was a low volume dealership so Vaux/Ford etc would be less

I need a good job in IT...
9 GCSEs (4 A's, 2 B's, 3 C's)
3 A-Levels (B, C, D)
1 Degree (Maths)
Nearly 2 years IT experience.
Current job is way too low-paid for the responsibilities and stress, looking for new job!
