I had a '99 Punto on 69k, nothing but trouble. My friend had a '02 Punto on 80k, again nothing but trouble.

i could be wrong but ive heard on the grapevine the bottom ends can be weak on the zetec s

Get the Zetec S.

Depending on the actual engine in it, check the oil and make sure not low. I think on an X it will have the older Zetec engine which tends to like oil, as my misses found out on her 1.4 16v.

FSH etc etc should be good enough though.

I have just bought a Taxi

Friend of mine buys a few cars from auction and punts them on.

On the way is an 53 Passat TDi 115

Was a deal, steal sale of the fucking century type thing so snapped it up

I will be Abdhul doing taxi runs on a sat night.

Gives me something that's a bit more versatile whilst the Scoob is laid up having its rebuild.
