I plan to hand my notice in at work this afternoon, but im also meant to be paid tomorrow via bacs into my account.
I belive it takes 3 days for the bacs to transfer?
If i hand my notice in today is there anyway they can then cancel the bacs payment going through?

On a side note... I'm supposed to get paid the last day of the month. In the past, it's gone in on a Friday instead of a Sat or Sun or BH Mon etc.... Will the bank therefore pay me tomorrow, or are they not including the Royal Wedding Friday as a regular bank holiday?

If you get paid on the last working day of every month then you will receive your money tomorrow (Thursday).
Nothing happens with standard BACS transfers on weekends and public holidays.

I don't understand, if they are paying you for what you have already worked, why would they cancel it?

I have worked for sales companies before and they have been absolute cunts. As soon as you hand in your notice they will keep any wages and commisions owed for upto 12 months to cover any adjustments or quieries that may take place.
