I used to always put Michelin Pilot Exalto's on my A3. They lasted 18k on the front and they had loads of grip too.

I don't find my runflats that bad TBH so I'm going to stick with them. What runflats do you have? Mine are Dunlop SP Sports I think.

I have Maxxis Victras on the Rex, wouldn't have bought them but they came on the wheels. Gotta say though I haven't had a problem with them so far, work well in dry and wet conditions, seem to be hard wearing and yet hung on well round Oulton, were nice and sticky.

The P Zero range varies, i.e Rosso/Nero/Corsa etc etc. You tend get the cheaper variant in smaller sizes which I can imagine most people on here have experienced. Yout then get the premium range at the higher end of the spectrum. I just paid £130 a corner for some in 17's and they are immense in the dry and wet.

Still the Pilot Exaltos are the best for longevity and performance IMO

Verdesteins also come with good ratings for a midrange tyre and they do come in the size you want as Gavin ran them on his Type R iirc
