Just had the engine fully rebuilt, so decided to have some things done at the same time!
Spec now is:
High comp pistons
Fast road cams
Gas flowed head
Lightened flywheel
Balanced bottom end
Acl race bearing
And transmission wise i have a Xsi Gearbox (close ratio) with Quaiffe diff.

It's flippin quick! lol..
I'm off to the 'ring again this year (not the same time as cs unfortunately) but will hopefully set some quick times

What other mods does it have??Why the need for the bottom end work on a near enough standard motor??
And will the high comp pistons be suitable for a turbo conversion??

Deep pockets for a Turbo conversion, my mate just spent 2k+ on a BE box coversion, ATspeed shafts etc and he snapped one after a couple of laps of KH. Think his is running about 270 ish

Colin was trying to get me to do a BE conversion when I took my box into him to get the quaife sorted
Its not cheap
Loved my VTS with XSI box and quaife though
Drives supercharged Tec with torque
